We had a good stay at a small but very clean hotel right in the old town, close to the Bosphorus. The staff was really kind, our room fit all four of us, though the bathroom was tiny and the shower uncomfortable, and the breakfast was Turkish instead of continental as we expected, also, the bed linen was just a thin cover without sheets.
